I accidentally deleted Quicktime X on my MacBook Air (Snow Leopard) by dragging it to the trashcan instead of the dock. When I went to apple.com to try to re-download it to the hard drive I keep getting an error that says "Quicktime cant be installed on this disk. This version of Quicktime 7 can't be installed on this disk because Quicktime X is already present. Please use software update to install the appropriate version of Quicktime for your Mac."

So my question is, Why does my mac still think Quicktime exists when I cant not find it in spotlight or anywhere!?
