Quick Tip: SafariStand Quick Search from contextual menu

Long title, quick tip. Using the previous tutorial on SafariStand we configured Quick Search, a great tool which lets you search directly from the address bar in Safari. But that’s not all. Quick Search also live in the contextual menu.

1) Control-click any word to highlight it and bring up the contextual menu at the same time.

2) Select Quick Search and you’ll see all you defined Quick Searches right there in the contextual menu.

Quick Search contextual menu

Nice and quick, completely without the address bar.

Note: If you have single letter Quick Searches - such as “g” for Google - press the letter when the context menu is open to select it without the mouse - even quicker.
