If you are using iSync a lot (or any other program) and are annoyed by always having to navigate to your Applications directory, look for the application and start it, you can keep it in your Dock (even when it’s not running).

To do so, start up iSync (or any other program), hold down the ctrl key, click on its icon in the Dock and select Keep in Dock. Now the application icon will stay there.

Remove an icon from the Dock

Sometimes with a lot of applications in the Dock, it can get quite busy down there. To remove an icon from the Dock, just drag it off the Dock, release the mouse button and it will vanish in a puff of smoke.

Nice touch, huh?
